First vintage of Aetneus Etna Rosso DOC is now available

We have followed I Custodi delle vigne dell’Etna since the winery’s first steps four years ago, and many times we tasted the wine made from the grapes harvested in 2007, while it was aging in its old oak barrels and then while it was refining in bottle.

Now, Salvo Foti, the oenologist of the producers joined in the Consorzio I Vigneri, has finally decided to give his long awaited ok, and the first bottles of Aetneus Etna Rosso DOC are already shipping to wine shops and restaurants, to join Ante Etna Bianco DOC, already available since last spring.
